Manjula B. Desai

Manjulagau B. Desai, 78, of Jonesboro, died Thursday morning at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born in India and moved to the United States in 1985; then moved to Jonesboro from New Orleans in 1994. She was a part of the Hindu culture.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Bharat Desai and Bhavesh & Alka Desai, all of Jonesboro; her daughters, Maya Mehta, Mission Viejo, CA, Kalpana Shah, Leesburg, VA; and her granddaughters, Nital Desai and Hinali Desai.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mafatlal & Kamlabehn Dalal.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at noon at Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
