Mae Elizabeth Holcomb

Mae Elizabeth Holcomb, 78 of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday March 5, 2022 at St Bernards Medical Center.  She was born March 15, 1943 to the late Thomas and Mary Smith Driver in Oneida, Arkansas.   Mae worked as a seamstress and in shoe repair.  She was of Baptist belief.  Mae loved going to church.  She loved to cook before she had a stroke.  Mae loved her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews and she loved her dogs.  Mae is preceded in death by her first husband, John David Larley; second husband, Don Holcomb; sister, Lucy Newcomb, Margie Driver; brothers, Bobby Driver, Harvey  Walker, Roosevelt Walker, John Edward Driver.

Survivors include son, Dave (Annette) Holcomb of Jonesboro; brother, Larry (Lorena) Driver of Helena; sister, Linda “Hawk” Mimms of Helena; sister-in-law, Melba Walker, Honorary children, Robbie (Melissa) Walker (also known as 2 ^nd son) and Brenda Kay Miles and 15 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1-2 pm Thursday, March 10, 2022 at General Baptist Church at 220 Spruce St. in Jonesboro.  Service will start at 2 pm with Randy Page officiating.  Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Devin Holcomb, Dave Holcomb, Jared Seals, Carlon Walker, Edward Black and Philip Handley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Khori Seals and Josh Patterson.
