Mack Rose, 13, of Brookland, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
Born on April 20, 2013, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Mack brought joy to everyone who knew him. He was preparing to enter the eighth grade at Brookland School and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Paragould.
Mack had a deep love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Whether chasing deer in the fall or eagerly anticipating duck and goose season, he cherished every opportunity to be outdoors. He also enjoyed playing football as a member of the Brookland Junior Bearcats Football Team, where he made lasting friendships and treasured memories. Mack will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving parents, Cord and Elizabeth Rose of the home; his brother, Luke Rose of the home; and his sister, Ellie Rose of the home. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Jim Kennett (Phylis) and Mollie Bollinger; his paternal grandparents, Stan and Debbie Rose; his aunts and uncles, Cal Rose, Cason Rose, and Stephanie Corter; along with many extended family members and countless friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 3, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chuck Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Luke Rose, Cal Rose, Stan Rose, Barny McCoy, Colt Sitzer, Darryl Rose, Jim Kennett, and Steve Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Brookland Junior Bearcats Football Team, Sam Fleming, Little David Henson, and Novak Edens.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has reached out with prayers, love, support, and acts of kindness during this incredibly difficult time. Your compassion and kindness have been a tremendous source of comfort to the family and will always be remembered.
