Mable Jean Vaughn

April 25, 1933 — November 3, 2012

Mable Jean Vaughn 79, of Jonesboro passed away on Saturday, November 3, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born in Monette and had lived in Jonesboro most of her life. She worked in the credit office at Dillard’s for 33 years and was a member of the Nettleton Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Alice Owens Jones and one sister, Georgia Butler.

Survived by her daughter; Carol Ryan (Terry) of Germantown, Tennessee, Brothers; James Jones of Kansas City, Missouri, Johnny Jones of Jenks, Oklahoma and sister, Helen Golden of Jonesboro. One grandson, Taylor Covey.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 6, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dr. Charles L. Welch officiating.

Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until service time at Emerson Funeral Home.

Family requests that lasting memorials be made to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1138 E. Matthews, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
