M. L. Fisher, 82, of Jonesboro died Friday, November 25, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He had lived in Jonesboro for 62 years moving here from the Childress Community. He was co-author of two books, one detailing the railroads in the Jonesboro area and one describing downtown Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his wife, DruElla Audrey Fisher, Bill Dunn, a step-son, and an half-sister, Mary Ann Fisher.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, November 27, 2005,at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dwight Harrelson officiating and burial to follow at Herman Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Saturday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
