SMITH
Lynn Smith, 61, of Lake City, died Tuesday November 17, 2009 at his home.
He was born in Jonesboro and lived his lifetime in Lake City. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake City. He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Edith Mooneyham Smith.
He is survived by his wife Ramona Smith of the home. Two sons; Greg Smith and wife Angie, of Lake City, Erron Smith and wife Libby of Bentonville, Arkansas. One daughter Dr. Ashley Brewer and husband Colby of Marion, Arkansas.
Four brothers; Charles Smith of Caraway, Arkansas, Jim Smith , Larry Smith both of Lake City and Kenneth Smith of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Five sisters; Norma Pierce of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, Barbara Shurley , Jeanetta Bailey, Eileen Adams all of Lake City, and Margaret Wright of Walls, Mississippi.
Seven grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday November 19, 2009 at Jonesboro Memorial Park, with Greg Rainwater officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.
Active pallbearers will be Chris Grimes, Ken Grimes, Blake Robertson, Jim Robertson, Mark Ladd and Jim Ladd.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Troutman, Steve Adams, Bryan Smith Bruce Smith, Michael Smith Shaun Smith, Anthony Smith, Dr. Eddy Caldwell, Len B. Nall and Jackie Davis.
There will be no visitation.
