He graduated from Nettleton High School in 1966. In 1968 he entered The United States Marine Corp. He proudly served two years including one year in Vietnam near Da Nang and Quan Tri. Corporal Erwin received an honorable discharge in 1970. Two weeks later he married his love Beverly, and spent 54 years together. He and Beverly have two sons, two Daughters, Six Grandchildren and two Great Children (and a third on the way in July):
Eric (Destiny) of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida Twin granddaughters, Brianna of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla and Brittany of Chattanooga, TN. He was so excited to know Brittany was giving him another great granddaughter in July.
Brandon (Lindsay) of Jonesboro, AR and their four children..Micah (Coleman) and their son, Rushton, Kimber (Kolin) Lamberson) and their daughter Tommee Mae, Laykin and his one grandson Rylan Wade.
Lynn was extremely proud of and thankful for his family...a proud husband, father and Papa. The great grands were icing on the cake.
Lynn was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church. He was a man saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was always quick to tell his wife she was the second-best thing that ever happened to him. His first and best was his salvation. He would say “I’m not perfect but I am forgiven”.
