Lyle Darby, 72, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma on December 7, 1951 to Harry and Bettie Darby. He has lived in Jonesboro since 1970, moving here from Omaha, Nebraska. He was of the Catholic belief. Lyle served his country in the US Air Force. He retired from Walmart after many years of service. Genealogy always had a special interest. He enjoyed collecting antiquities. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Darby, and a great niece, Blakely Thomas.
Survivors include his sisters, Elizabeth Darby White and husband Ken of Sacramento, California; and Allyce Thomas and husband, Doug of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews, Christopher White and wife (Jenny) ; Shannon McClintock and husband, Jared; Aaron Thomas and wife, Jordan; Nash Thomas and wife Abby; great nephews, Benjamin McClintock, Elijah White and Ryan White; great nieces, Sloane McClintock, Harper Thomas and Evalyn Thomas.
