August 29, 1984 — December 17, 2005

Lydia Nelson, 21 of Jonesboro died Saturday, December 17, 2005 in Dunklin County Missouri. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and active in mission works, and was scheduled to graduate in August 2006 with a Sports Management degree from ASU. She was an accomplished athlete and competed in several sports while attending Jonesboro High School.

She was preceded in death by her Grandfathers, Jimmie Lee Nelson, Sr., L. H. Harris, and Levi Jones.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Central Baptist Church with Brothers. Chris Perry, Jerry Muckenstrum, and Archie Mason officiating with burial to follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Greg Jones, David McClain, Doug McDaniel, Issac Dillon, Michael Vanwinkle, John Mayberry, Sonny Dill, Marlon Henderson, Jr., Bryan Clark, Kevin Barber, Rodney McCuiston, Jimmy Farley.

For those wishing to leave lasting memorials, the family request you please consider Central Baptist Church Missions Fund.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 Wednesday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
