Luther Shortnacy
September 17, 1927 — August 23, 2012
Luther Shortnacy, 84, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, August 23, 2012. He enjoyed working outdoors and was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Survivors include his wife Nellie Shortnacy of Harrisburg; sons, Robert Dale Shortnacy and Bryan Lynn Shortnacy of New Albany, Mississippi; daughters, Doris McKeown, Phyllis Corbin, Mary Lee, all of Jonesboro; Stella Marsh of Brookland; brother, Roger Dale Shortnacy of Enid, Oklahoma;sisters, Lois, Joyce, Maggie, Beth, Debbie, Sue Helen; 14 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced later.
