Luther E. Clinton

Luther E. Clinton, 80, of Jonesboro, died November 30, 2007 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He had worked as a security guard and had moved from Maynard to Jonesboro in 2002. He was a Marine Veteran and a member of the Lake City Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his son, Richard E. Clinton, House Springs, MO; his daughter, Patty Brady, Jonesboro; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther M. & Lula B. McCutchen Clinton; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at Emerson Memorial Chapel at 3:30 p.m. with Elder Harold Anderson and Reverend Charles Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Rick Clinton, Bob Brady, Shane Lee, Robert Child, Andrew Cline, and Chris Knight.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
