Luke Adams

Luke Adams, 22, of Caraway, Arkansas passed on November 12, 2023. He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on April 16, 2001 to Greg Adams of Caraway and Kelly Phillips Adams of Portageville, Missouri. He graduated from Riverside High School in 2019 and continued his education at ASU Newport to obtain a technical certificate as a welder.

Luke enjoyed life to the fullest, with his favorite days spent chasing ducks, deer, dove, and coyotes from the time he was old enough to follow his dad.  If he wasn’t hunting, he was fishing or running lines.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Amos.  Luke was known for his warm smile, sense of humor, protective nature, and work ethic.

Luke is survived by his best friend, Amos, mother Kelly Phillips Adams of Lake City, sisters Sydney Adams (Larry Tilley) of Conway, Layla Adams of Caraway, step siblings Emery Booker and Grady Booker of Marmaduke, step mom Sunni Adams of Marmaduke, grandparents Mike and Becky Adams, Shirley Shirley all of Caraway, Jackie & Joyce Phillips of Portageville, MO, step grandparents Harold & Betty Comstock of Jonesboro, great grandmother Avo Webb of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Aunts Sheryl (Allen) Puckett, of Caraway, Brandy Hartman of Portageville, MO, immediate cousins Remington & Jayde Cobble of Minturn, Arkansas,  Kassie (Jeremy) Lenzi, Kayde and Jude Garland of Black Oak, Arkansas, Keryn (Jeff) Floyd and Reed Farrar of Hoxie, Arkansas, Hunter Hartman, Mazie Hartman of Portageville, MO and long list of friends.

Luke was preceded in death by his dad Greg Adams, grandparents Katherine and Paul Phillips, Mary and Houston McMahan and step grandfather Howard Shirley.

Funeral arrangements will take place at Emerson Funeral Home on Monday November 20th in Jonesboro, Arkansas with visitation from 11am-1pm with services immediately to follow.  Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Sye Gyngard, Hayden Emery, Ryan Austin, Hayden Carr, Cheston Vincent, Tucker Gatlin, Bailey Tittle, Gage Crews.

Honorary pallbearers are Greg Adams, Mike Adams, Jeremy Garland, Jude Garland, Grady Booker, Grayson Emery, Drake Walker, Larry Tilley III, Mark Douglas, Dwight Whittenburg, Cameron  and Preston Jones, Jessie and Jeremiah Walton.
