Lucy F. Hardel

Lucy F. Hardel, 93, of Jonesboro, died Sunday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born in McGlothin County, Kentucky and had lived in Hamlet, Indiana before moving to Jonesboro in 1981. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Esther Mae Hardel Wood, seven siblings, and her husband Adam Alford Hardel, Jr.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Wegert of Jonesboro and Ruth Verbois of Santa Barbara, Califorina.

Graveside services will be Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11:00 A.M.at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Wilcox officiating.

Active pallbearers will be the men from the First Christian Church.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 at Emerson Funeral Home.
