Lucille E. Gibson

Lucille E. Gibson, 96, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at her home.

Born in Newark, Mrs. Gibson moved to Jonesboro in 1963. She was a homemaker and a member of the Nettleton Church of Christ. Mrs. Gibson was a member of the Jonesboro Garden Club and the Jonesboro Senior Citizens Center.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Clede Gibson; by her parents, Robert H. and Sarah Rebecca Roberson Pectol; and by three sons, Larry Gibson, Lindsey Gibson and R.C. Gibson.

Survivors include 2 sons: Ray Gibson and Phillip Gibson, both of Jonesboro;
3 daughters: Dorothy Magness of Batesville, Mary Lou Clark of Foral, and Sally Logan of Jonesboro;
13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
