Lowell Thomas Price

Lowell Thomas Price, age 70, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, January 11, 2015 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on January 4, 1945 to Orville Howard Price, Sr. and Gracie Hedger Price in Brookland, AR. He was a tool & die maker and had worked at Delta Consolidated Industeries. Lowell was a veteran of the U.S. Army. During the Vietnam War era in 1967-1968 he was an Army Intelligence Specialist. Lowell enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and especially tending to flowers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville H. Price, Sr., and Gracie Hedger Price; brothers, Orville H. Price, Jr., and Jimmy Layne Price.

Survivors include his loving wife Barbara, of 44 years, of the home; 1 brother, David Rickey “Rick” Price and a special friend Pat, of Brookland; 1 sister Lawanda White (Danny) of Jonesboro and 7 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home from 1 pm-2 pm, with service beginning at 2:30 pm at Pine Log Cemetery with Bro. Wyndell King officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Sharp, Randy Martin, Roger Spence, Richard Shelby, Danny Prestidge and Wyndell Wilkey.
