Louis Jeffery Johnson

Louis Jeffery Johnson, 48, of Jonesboro, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock.

Born in Wilson, Jeffery lived most of his life in Jonesboro. He worked in construction much of his adult life and was a Baptist. Jeffery enjoyed working in his yard, fishing and watching action movies. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Lynn Johnson, and by his parents: Albert and Ila Mae Lawson Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Frieda Johnson of the home; married August 4, 1984;

3 sons, Austin John, Richard Johnson and Terry Johnson, all of the home; and
2 brothers and their wives: Roy D. and Betty Johnson of Otwell and James and Denise Johnson of West Memphis.

All services and burial will be private. There will be no visitation.
