Louis E. Spears Jr.

Louis E. Spears Jr., of Jonesboro died Monday, May 5, 2008 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was retired from Arkansas State University and was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Spears of the home: two sons, Staff Sergeant Nathaniel Spears of Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Bishop Jeremy Spears of Piedmont, South Carolina; one brother Larry Spears of Jonesboro; two sisters, Gereldine Gibbs and Brenda Hillyer, both of Jonesboro; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Pine Hill Cemetery with Bishop Jeremy Spears officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation. To sign a registry, go to www.emersonfuneralhome.com
