Louella Duffel

Louella Duffel, 91, a lifelong resident of Jonesboro died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and 15 brothers and sisters.

Louella is a member of Nettleton Baptist Church and is survived by one son, Larry Duffel and wife Dianna of Lebanon, Missouri; daughter, Linda Stallings, Jonesboro; brother, Alton Powell, Walcott, Arkansas; sister Edna Champion, Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Steven Duffel and wife Christy, Williford, Missouri; Bryan Duffel, Memphis, Tennessee; Pam Statler and husband Randy; and Toni Holt and husband Barry all of Jonesboro; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Emerson Funeral Home with Brother Danny Taylor officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Nettleton Cemetery with Justin Tittle, Steven Powell, Weston Statler, Chandler Duffel, Matt Murphy, and Zach Coco serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Friday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
