Louell Davis

Louell Davis, 83 of Lake City, passed from this life Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at her home. She was born in Monette, January 1, 1931 to Elmer and Myrtle Parker Patterson. Louell was a housewife who took care of her family, loved to cook, garden, quilt and especially work crossword puzzles. She was a member of Black Oak Assembly of God.

Louell is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ike Davis; son, Gary Davis; her stepfather, Oscar McLaughlin; and her parents.

Survivors include 3 sons; Donald Davis (Patty) of Lake City; Kevin Davis (Jackie) of Bentonville; and Kenny Davis (Heather) of Lake City; 1 daughter, Linda Stone (Doug) of Lake City; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 5-7 pm at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Services will be Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2 pm at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Larry Davis and Jake Gilley officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers include Jack McCann, Cleo Davis, Doug Davis, Shelby Davis, Lonnie Wright and Benji Wright.
