Loudine Moon

Loudine Moon, 72, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at her home. She had lived in Jonesboro for four years, moving here from Lake City. She was of the Baptist belief. Loudine retired from Hytrol Conveyor and Bay Public Schools. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching television, especially Matlock, Murder She Wrote, cooking shows and westerns. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Moon, her parents, two brothers and one great grandson.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Clark (Kathy) of Cushing, Oklahoma; Randy Rogers; daughter, Adair Isbell (Scott) all of Jonesboro; brothers, Michael Hammett of Brighton, Tennessee; Dennis Hammett of Newport; sisters, Gwen Wilson of Fort Myers, Florida; Thurlene Revelle of Bells, Tennessee; and Wanda Hammett of Bay; grandchildren, Winston Cole Rogers, Joshua Rains (Cheyene); Justin Clark, Holly Clark, and Amber Clark; great grandchildren; Savannah Rogers, Dakota Tate Rains, Deandra Rachelle Rains, Christian Michael Rains, and Olivia Marie Rains.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, December 19, 2016, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Lower Cain Island Cemetery with grandchildren and great grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Her brothers will be honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2 – 4 at Emerson Funeral Home.
