Lou Ann Bringer, 65, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, left us unexpectedly on September 8, 2025.
The daughter of William B. Anderson Jr. and Shirley (Smith) Anderson, Lou Ann was born on December 5, 1959, in Quincy, Illinois. She graduated from Highland High School in Ewing, Missouri. On May 22, 1981, she married the love of her life, Randall (Randy) William Bringer. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two daughters, who were the joy of her heart.
LouAnn worked at the Bank of Monticello, Simmons Bank, and Dental Solutions until October 27, 2022, when she joyfully began her favorite role—running the “MeMaw Taxi” for her grandchildren. She was a member of First Church in Jonesboro, a volunteer with Make-A-Wish, a faithful Red Cross blood donor who gave more than 10 gallons of blood throughout her lifetime—touching the lives of over 200 people, the biggest MeMaw Bearcat supporter for her two favorite Bearcats, and a lifeguard at Sartin Pool Club, where she cared for and shared her words of wisdom from her favorite chair.
She is survived by her husband, Randall; her daughters, Lindsie (Brandon) Sutton and Ashley (Adam) Sartin; and her four beloved grandchildren, Riley and Mackenzie Sutton and Elizabeth and Geri Sartin, all of Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is also survived by her mother, Shirley Anderson of Jonesboro; her sisters, Kim (Rich) Spitzfaden of St. Louis, Missouri, and Dawn (Heath) Murdock of Versailles, Missouri; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by her father, William B. Anderson Jr.; her in-laws, Russell and Betty Bringer; her brother, William B. Anderson III; brother-in-Law Tom Fleer and her grandparents, Bruce and Helen Anderson and Clifton and Velva Smith.
Lou Ann was the very heart and soul of her family—a woman whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched all who knew her. She devoted her life to caring for others, and her home was always filled with laughter, comfort, and the kind of love only she could give.
She was a proud and devoted mother and the most adoring “MeMaw,” whose greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren. As a sister, she was a confidant, a source of strength, and a lifelong best friend. Her love knew no bounds, and her presence made every gathering brighter.
Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched—with her gentle wisdom, her generosity, and her ability to make everyone feel truly seen and loved. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to guide us, and her love will forever remain in our lives.
A celebration of Lou Ann’s life will be held on September 13, 2025, at Emerson Funeral Home, Jonesboro Arkansas. Visitation will be from 9:00–10:00 a.m., with the funeral service immediately following. Family and friends are invited to share memories and honor the beautiful life she lived.
She will be deeply missed, but her love will forever be our compass.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Make-A-Wish Mid-South.
