Lottie "Agnes" Shockley

Lottie “Agnes” Shockley, 83, of Jonesboro departed this life on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 6, 1942 to Charlie and Lottie Jones in Leachville, Ar.

Agnes worked for Jonesboro Public Schools for the majority of her teaching career until her retirement. She loved spending time gardening. Agnes is preceded in death by both of her parents; her brother, Charles Jones; and her sister, Virginia Miller.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Peters, Sheila (Jerry) Haff, and Sharon (Lanny) Million all of Jonesboro; her sister, Evelyn (Dale) Page of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren, Jimmy Shockley, Johnny Shockley, Jeromy Shockley, Justin Shockley, Deanna Hogard, Alan Million, and Preston Million; her six great grandchildren, Logan, Tommy, Ruthie, Rylan, Kai, and Roman; and by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 starting at 2pm at Nettleton Cemetery officiated by Bro. Don Blackmore. Pallbearers will be Agnes’ grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
