Lorrie Travis Bullinger

Lorrie Travis Bullinger, 87, of Jonesboro passed from this life Friday, August 19, 2016 at Jonesboro Health and Rehab. She was born to the late Raymond and Cora Riley September 19, 1928 in Cooter, Missouri. Lorrie has resided in Jonesboro since April of 2007 after coming from Paragould. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church in Paragould. Lorrie was an avid gardener who loved flowers. She enjoyed cooking and being a homemaker. Lorrie was a follower of Christ who enjoyed singing and being at church.

In addition to her parents, Lorrie was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Thomas Travis; two daughters: Shirley Travis and Cora Lee Travis.

Lorrie is survived by her two sons: Mark David Travis (Laquita) of Needham and Johnny Stephen Travis (Jeanne) of Jonesboro; two daughters: Carolyn Marie Travis (Ray) of Marked Tree and Sara Annette Simmons (Jeremy) of Chicago; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

All services will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
