Lori Suzanne McClusky, 54, of Heber Springs passed from this life on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on January 20, 1965 to T.L. and Frances Noblin in Jonesboro. Lori earned her Bachelor Degree in Art from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and her Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Tennessee Memphis. She worked as a licenced clinical social worker. Most recently worked at St. Bernards Behavior Health. She was a member of Greensboro Road Church of Christ and attended Heber Springs Church of Christ. Lori was an artist at heart and she loved to paint. However, Lori’s passion was in helping animals and she contributed to many organizations to provide a better life for animals in need. Lori is preceded in death by her father, Thomas L. Noblin; grandparents, William H. and Lillian Noblin and James and Ester Forehand; uncles, William U. Noblin, Charles Noblin, and Don H. Noblin; aunts, Pamela Burkhalter, Willene Green, Betty Goble and Opal Caudle.
Lori is survived by her husband, Mark McClusky of Heber Springs; mother, Frances Noblin of Jonesboro; sons, Justin Davis McClusky of Greenbriar and Jake Noles of Jonesboro; daughters, Allyson McClusky of Greenbriar and Mina McClusky of Heber Springs; grandchildren, River Edwards, Karson Davis McClusky, and Valley Davis; father in law, Gene McClusky of Heber Springs; mother in law, Judith Bornhoft(Mike) of Jonesboro; Uncles, Cecil E. Forehand of Paragould and Donald L. Forehand of Brookland; aunts, Jean Gandy of Brookland and Eula Forehand of Jonesboro and numerous cousins.
The visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home with Mark Brewer and Terry Joe Kee officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Tyler Barker, Justin McClusky, Greg Walter, Robert Stormont, Bill Noblin, and Terry Noblin.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the animal rescue of your choice.
