Lorenzo Jaramillo Trinidad, 92, of Trumann passed from this life on Saturday, August 10, 2024. He was born on August 10, 1932 to the late Andres and Aurora Trinidad in Alma, Texas. Lorenzo was a member at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro. He worked for Singer for over 20 years before the factory closed its doors in 1982. Lorenzo went on to work for Columbia Forest Products and a few other places before he retired. He loved his roses and enjoyed working outside in his garden. Lorenzo also enjoyed fishing and hunting for cans, often having many barrels of cans before taking them to be recycled. In addition to his parents, Lorenzo is preceded in death by his sisters, Felis Trinidad, Ricarda “Mary” Marshall, and Clautilde “Tilda” Stowers; and brothers, Rey Trinidad and Domingo Trinidad.

Lorenzo was survived by his wife of 69 years, Jane M. Trinidad of Trumann; sons, Joe “Ray” Trinidad (Linda) of Brookland and Andy Trinidad (Pam) of Bono; daughters, Martha Trinidad and Frances Trinidad of Trumann; brother, Demis Trinidad (Loretta) of Lake City; grandchildren, Brittnay Sharp (Teddy), Angela Brewington (Marc), Michelle Eastep (Pete), and Kendall Trinidad. Lorenzo also leaves behind 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren with one on the way in December.

The visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 1-2 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

The service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Emerson Funeral Home with Father Cody and Sammy Leisure officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Teddy Sharp, Junior Holland, Robert Trinidad, Trevor Sharp, Brayden Chaney, and Marc Brewington.
