Lonnie Coots

Lonnie Coots, 49, of Cash passed from this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born in Jonesboro on March 26, 1966 to Clifford and Mary Irene Coots. Lonnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family, and playing with his dogs. Not only was Lonnie big in stature, but he also had a big heart, had a very gentle soul and loved children.

Lonnie is survived by his parents Clifford and Irene Coots of Cash; son, Nathan Coots of Cash; step daughter, Nicole Dunivan of Tuckerman; brother, Ronnie and Lisa Coots of Jonesboro. He also leaves behind his only granddaughter, Ayla Melissa Dean Coots and his nieces, Ariel Coots and Mayzee Coots.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Nathan Coots, Will Sharp, Brandon Crowell, Brian Crowell, Tim Hatfield, Ralph Meads, Dennis Jones, and Christopher Scott. The honorary pallbearers will be Eric Isbill, Joey Cox, David “Elk” Alexander, Jeff Whittingham, Doc and Joe.

The visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm.
