Lola Mae Lawson, 74, of Jonesboro, died Monday, October 14, 2019, at NEA Baptist Hospital. Born in Cash, Arkansas, she had lived most of her life in Jonesboro. Lola was one of four children born to Shirrell and Lillie Brown. She was of the Pentecostal belief. She enjoyed flowers and plants, but she loved her children, grandchildren and her fur baby, Bear. She was preceded in death by her husband, Spurgin Lawson, her parents, and one brother Jim Brown.
Survivors include her sons, Terry Lawson of Jonesboro; Mike Lawson (Ligia) of Batesville; daughters, Pam Koster (Marty) of Jonesboro; Lisa Lawson of Brookland; brothers, Bill Brown of Sedgewick, Bob Brown of Light, Arkansas; grandchildren, Cheryl Novakovich, Jacob Koster, Jonathan Koster, Brittany Lawson and Erika Lawson.
A graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, at Johnson Cemetery. All other services will be private. A special thanks goes to St. Bernard’s Outpatient Dialysis for the care and friendship extended over the many years.
