Lois Marie Winningham, 93, of Bono passed from this life on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born September 16, 1933 to the late Oliver and Ovella Franks.

Lois has lived in Northeast Arkansas most of her adult life and was a member of Bono Church of Christ. She found joy in tending her garden and growing beautiful flowers, visiting with neighbors, sharing meals at Tanglewood Apartments potlucks, and making homemade sweets.

In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Winningham Jr; daughter, Rhonda Ellis; great-grandson, Landon Ellis; 5 brothers, 5 sisters and a special niece, Ona Wyatt.

She is survived by her son, Rickey (Melinda) Winningham; daughter, Sonya (Tony) Spinner; grandchildren, Garrett Winningham and Heather Ellis as well as great-grandchildren, Cameron Ellis and Caleb Ellis.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday October 21, 2026 at Evett Cemetery in Marcella with Bro. Calvin Taylor officiating. Honorary pallbearers are the tenants of the Tanglewood and Pecan Valley Apartments.
