Lois M. Martin

Lois M. Martin, 78, of Bono, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bay, and lived most of her life in the Jonesboro area.  Lois was of the Baptist belief.  She enjoyed going to the Community Center of Fridays and Mondays and having lunch with her friends.  A favorite pastime was to walk to Kum-&-Go and hang out and visit with people.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Martin; her parents, one son five brothers; Willie Lee Mullins, Jackson Mullins, Eugene Wayne Mullins, Johnny Wayne Mullins and Thomas Gene Mullins; three sisters, Patsy Ruth Stevens, Shirley Anne Mullins and Carolyn Parks.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Martin and Terry Martin; daughters, Amy Millsap (Les) all of Bono; Kathryn Stevens (Donnie) of Jonesboro; brother, Pete Coy of Bono; sister, Clara Gayle Mullins of Flint, Michigan; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, January, 25, 2018 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jason Cline officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Burial will be private with Les Millsap, Larry Martin, Jerry Manley, Pete Coy, Mickey Vanhorn and Floyd Howard serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Thursday.
