Lois Hutcheson

Lois Hutcheson, 87 of Lake City, passed from this life at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House Friday, August 31, 2018.  She was born in Monette December 9, 1930 to Troy and Ethel Roberson Guiltner.  She was a housewife and a member of the Assembly of God. In her pastime, Lois grew and took care of her flowers, worked in the yard and enjoyed traveling.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years Julius Hutcheson; 4 sisters, Alberta, Irene and Willie, and Euna Faye Throgmartin; 3 brothers, Paul, Otis and Troy Wayne.

Survivors include: 2 sons and their wives, Donnie (Brenda) Hutcheson of Lake City; Jerry (Rita) Hutcheson of Lake City; 3 grandchildren, Stephanie (Keith) Timms, Jason (Jessica) Hutcheson and Nathan Hutcheson; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild soon to arrive; and brother-in-law, Dillard Ratliff.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Emerson Memorial Chapel from 10-11AM, with service starting at 11AM.  Van Gilbert will be officiating.

Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Gerald Craig, David Richardson, Gary Metz, Gerald Eakers and Glen Fletcher.
