Lois E. Parks

Lois E. Parks, 90, of Jonesboro, died Friday evening at St. Elizabeth’s Place in Jonesboro.

Born in Gurdon, Mrs. Parks lived in the Macey-Monette community before moving to Jonesboro several years ago. She was a homemaker and attended Wood Street Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Ishmael Parks; a son: James Parks;
a daughter: Melba Parks; a granddaughter: Lacretia Carmichiel; and 2 sisters and
6 brothers.

Survivors include:

1 Daughter and Son-in-law: Judy and Mike Atkinson of Jonesboro;

2 Grandchildren: Darrell Parks, and
Kenna DeGuano, both of Jonesboro; and

6 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 in Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. Vernie Harris officiating.

Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
