Lois Lee Cohn

Funeral services for Lois Lee Cohn, 85, a former longtime resident of Lake City will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Spencer Furby officiating.  Burial will follow at Lake City Cemetery. Lois passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Lois Lee Hawkins Cohn was born on February 22, 1934. She was the eldest daughter of Dailey & Eva Hawkins. She lived to celebrate her 85th birthday with family and friends. She married J. D. Cohn on September 5, 1953 and they were married for 58 years.

Lois was a caring Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was a member of the Lake City Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sisters, Mary Verburg of Chicago, IL, Joy White of Lake City, AR and Theresa Angel of Little, Rock, AR; brother Jimmy Hawkins and wife Carol of Jonesboro, AR; four children Ricky Dale Cohn and wife Lee of Monette, AR, Debbie Zavala and husband Jesse of Jonesboro, AR, Jaime (Donna) Turner and husband Bobby of Tyler, Texas and Melissa Cohn and Jean Kay Cole of Dallas. She had three grandchildren: Lane Cohn, Devon Scott and husband Justin and Josh Longmire and wife Jenn; three great-grandchildren Kanyn, Kason and Jackson along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mr.& Mrs. Dailey Hawkins: husband J.D. Cohn, brother Sonny Hawkins & sister Dailene Culbreath.
Pallbearers will be Kanyn Scott, Kason Scott, Lane Cohn, Justin Scott, Josh Longmire, Jim Hawkins and Paul Culbreath. Honorary pallbearers are Larry McAnally, Jimmy Hicks, Don Brooks, Tim Culbreath, Bobby Turner, Gilbert Smith, Dural Culbreath and Jesse Zavala

The family will receive friends at 12:30pm Tuesday, December 17th, prior to service time.
