Obituary

Lois Brewer, 82, of Jonesboro, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on September 11, 1943 to Willie Smith and Nova Windford Smith.

Lois was raised in the Bono area and was a lifetime resident of Northeast Arkansas. She was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time outside – fishing and golfing were always favorite pastimes. Her greatest joy was her family. Lois’ home, especially during her Christmas parties, was always full of warmth and laughter.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Wayne Staggs; son, Jeffrey Jason Staggs; twin brother, Lewis Smith; and sister, Lucille Henson.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Brewer of the home; son, Michael Wayne Staggs; grandchildren, Victoria (Anthony) Sirico of Virginia and Sebastian Michael (Gracie) Staggs of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Anthony Sirico II and Jack Staggs; stepchildren, Robin (Chris) Pindell of Little Rock and Scott (Amy) Brewer of Edmond, Oklahoma; step grandchildren, Elyse Pindell, Ryan Pindell, Jackson Brewer, and Cameron Brewer; many other relatives and a lifetime of special friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Lois’ memory to the charity of your choice.
