Logan Wilson Shipman, 29, of Brookland passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was born to Bryan & Angie Shipman on August 26,1991. He was a devoted big brother to Leslie Shipman Glidewell, brother-in-law to Ben Glidewell, uncle to Wyatt Glidewell, and beloved step-father to Addilyn Kate Owens. Logan graduated from Brookland High School and completed a bachelor’s degree at Arkansas State University. Logan was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. Logan adored his family and friends.

Logan is survived by his maternal grandparents Charles and Carol Pipes, paternal grandparents Wilson and Sue Shipman; aunts and uncles: Janet and Mark Baxter, Kim Pipes, Carla and Micha Knight, Sharon and Tim Albert, and Sheryl and Kevin Hoke. Cousins: Jerrod Hollis, Gareth Hollis, Nicholas Coggins, Tanner Hoke, Hunter Coggins, Shanley Hoke, Jacob Householder, Calen Baxter, and Anna Claire Mitchell. Dear Friends: Jeffery Martin, Josh Banks, and numerous other family and friends.

Logan loved baseball and umpired for Brookland Summer League. He was a sweet, friendly soul who loved his family and friends. He had a quick wit and a love of history. He will be greatly missed by so many.

A memorial service will be 6:00 Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brandon Dunning officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be from 4:00 until service time on Thursday.  All other services will be private.
