Lloyd “Bud” Gayle Montgomery, 89, of Bono passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Lakeside Nursing Center. He was born September 21, 1936 in Bono to the late Edward Lee and Emma Dora Montgomery. Lloyd was of the Baptist faith and was an Army veteran. He owned and operated a business transporting and setting up mobile homes for most of his life. For relaxation “Bud” liked to sit in his recliner and watch “The Wheel of Fortune”.

In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Lynn Montgomery, and his sister, Jean Gage.

Survivors include his daughter, Karen Montgomery of Bono; his brother, Ronney (Ilene) Montgomery of Bono; and his sister, Evelyn Hillis of Choctaw, OK; niece Sandi Ford of Jonesboro; nephews, Mark (Renee) Gage of Hixson, TN, Craig (Mary) Gage of Davisburg, MI and Stephen (Kathy) Hillis of Choctaw, Ok.
