Lloyd Ackerman

Lloyd V. Ackerman, Jr., 76, of Jonesboro, Arkansas died Monday afternoon at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Mr. Ackerman moved to Jonesboro from Pennsylvania.

Mr. Ackerman is survived by his wife, Dorothy Royer Ackerman; one son, Lloyd V. Ackerman III and his wife Deb of Washingtonboro, PA; a brother, Harry Ackerman and his wife Mary Ann of Lititz, PA; six grandchildren, Robert and Tony Sartin, Amanda Ackerman, Dick, Ronald, and Dustin Heagy; and three great grandchildren, Adam and Drew Sartin, and Melanie Rickett, .

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Sr. and Bertha Shaub Ackerman; a step-son, Richard Heagy; a step-daughter, Victoria Sartin; three brothers, Charles, John and Lester Ackerman; and a grandson, Michael Ackerman.

Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Nissley Funeral Home of Mount Joy. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday.

Interment will follow in Crossroads Church Cemetery.
