Lloyal Edgar Shaw

Lloyal E. Shaw, 57, of Jonesboro died Monday, May 16,2011, at NEA Baptist Hospital.

Having come from a strong military background, Lloyal entered the Navy. He retired after 20 years, having served in San Diego, CA; Millington, TN; Maryland; Oklahoma; Maine; and Spain. After retirement, he came back to Jonesboro, and was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church. He worked for C & I Electric and was a diehard Red Wolf Football and Baseball Fan.

Lloyal was preceded in death by his father, Harold Shaw.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Shaw of the home; mother, Iva Shaw; two sons, Jason Shaw and Brian Mashburn; two daughters, Sarah Shaw-Youngblood and Brittany Shaw; two brothers Ivan Shaw and Harold G. Shaw; and three grandchildren, Madison Mashburn, Kara Youngblood, and Jeremiah Youngblood.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Bro Mike Martin and Rev. Charles Sigman officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Brian Mashburn, Mike Rinaldi, Tom Cottingham, Tim Weston, Bear Strommer, Brad Thompson, Jimmy Weaver, and Larry Tolbert.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees from C & I Electric.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that consideration be given to The Red Wolf Club in memory of Lloyal Shaw, P.O. Box 2219, State University, AR, 72467.
