Lisa Marie Carter Kindrick

Lisa Marie Carter Kindrick of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Jonesboro departed this life on February 25, 2022, at the age of 39. She was born March 11, 1982, in Helena, Arkansas.
Her number one goal in life was to always help other people, no matter the case. A former educator, she was an activist for women's rights, civil rights, education reform, and student mental health awareness. She never met a stranger, someone once changed a flat for her at a store, so she invited him over for food and gave him her lawnmower because he owned a lawn service business. She would spend time making art, listening to music, redecorating anyone’s house she went to, and most of all spending time talking with her family and friends. She was a special, unique soul to all she touched.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Grover and Opal Carter, and maternal grandparents James Worley and Jimmie Brogdon.
Lisa is survived by her husband and best friend of 14 years, Chris Kindrick of North Little Rock; father, Dwight Carter (Carolyn) of Bono; mother, Janet Kelley of Jonesboro; two sisters, Kelly Davis of Wynne, Stephanie Carter of Little Rock; two special nieces, Elizabeth Harmon, Emily Davis; longtime friend, Tera Copeland; and a lifetime of friends and family.
Friends may visit at Emerson Funeral Home, Thursday, March 3, 2022, beginning at 12:30 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. for a memorial visitation. Memorial Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked to please consider donations to the Arkansas Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
