Lindsey Young Branch

Lindsey Jade Young Branch, 24, of Jonesboro, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015, of natural causes at her friend's home in Jonesboro.

Lindsey was born in Jonesboro and lived all of her life in the Jonesboro area. She was a 2009 graduate of Brookland High School where earned All-Region in the high school band. Lindsey was also busy with all mediums of art, was a published poet, and enjoyed reading and music.

Lindsey was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her grandmother, Teresa Branch; and great grandparents: Wanda Lee Heaps, Art and Joyce Shea, Walter and Ruth Branch and Euland and Zora Vickery.

Survivors include her mother, Brandy Young of Jonesboro;
her father, Randy Branch II of Jonesboro;

a half brother, Glen Goodwin of Jonesboro;

her grandparents. Randy Branch of Rossville, Illinois, Glenda Branch of Jonesboro, and Billy Don and Minnie Young of Jonesboro;

Aunts and Uncles: Billy and Crystal Young and Stacey and Garrett Bond, all of Jonesboro;
Alan Hedgecock, Jason and Karyanna Hedgecock of Rossville, Illinois;
a great aunt, Becky Robertson of Kiser;

2 nephews: Bryer Young and Logan Bond;
5 nieces: Brynn Young, Rylee Bond, Gracelynn Hedgecock, Ellieanna Hedgecock and Lillyan hedgecock; and numerous other cousins, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dave Burgess officiating. Zane Dorton and Alan Hedgecock will read tributes to Lindsey that they authored. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Stephen Long, Adrienne Ealey, Brandon Dix, Aron Ellis, Tanner Stonehart and Alan Hedgecock. Honorary pallbearers include Jammey Dorton, Zane Dorton, Chance Chamlies, Austin Long and T.J. Long.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. in Emerson Chapel.
