Linda Mcclary Zolper

July 31, 1949 — March 17, 2006

Linda McClary Zolper, 56, of Jonesboro, died Friday, March 17, 2006, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born July 31, 1949 in Paris, Arkansas, she grew up in Fort Smith and resided in Jonesboro for the past five years.

Survivors include:
Her loving husband: Dennis Zolper of the home;

1 Son: Michael Brett Jetton of Fort Smith;

1 Daughter: Amy Jetton of Fayetteville;

1 Step Daughter: Andrea Zolper Johnson of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee;

1 Sister: Jan McClary Williams of Barling;

3 Grandchildren: Jasmine Hope Jetton of Fort Smith,
Isaac Huliska, and
Gabriel Huliska, both of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; and

A host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: J.D. McClary and Mary Ernestine Lipe McClary of Fort Smith.

And avid gardner and animal enthusiast, Linda was employed by Realty Associates of Jonesboro. She was a Christian and a member of the Jonesboro Metro Rotary Club. A graduate of Southside High School in Fort Smith, she also attended Westark Community College and worked in banking for 30 years prior to moving to Jonesboro.

A memorial service will be held Saturday morning, March 25, 2006, at 10:00 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with Rev. George Barham officiating. A visitation-luncheon will follow the service Saturday from 11-1:00 in the Hall at Taliano’s.

For lasting memorials, the family requests that consideration be given to the Rotary Centennial Park Project, P.O. Box 974, Jonesboro, AR 72403; the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, 2101 Petry Lane, Jonesboro, AR 72401; or the Humane Society of Sebastian County, P.O. Box 10953, Fort Smith, AR 72917, in honor of Snickers.
