Linda H. Worley, 75, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on August 28, 1942 in Trumann to Tommie, Jr. and Gaulena Higgins. Linda worked for Mercantile Bank for 34 years before retiring and was an active member of Christian Valley Christian Church. She served in the church for many years as the bookkeeper and helped with the cooking. Linda enjoyed exercising, bunko, and being active in church. But family was what she enjoyed most of all and she will be greatly missed. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Tommie, Jr. and Gaulena Higgins; husband, Joe Worley; sister, Carolyn Craft; and great granddaughter, Samantha Paige Smithee.

Linda is survived by her son, Joseph Ryan Worley (Jane)of Portland, Oregon; daughters, Robin Bowers and Kay Stump (Brian) both of Jonesboro; brother, Larry Higgins (Kathy) of St. Peters, Missouri; sisters, Sandra Miller (Earnie) of Marietta, Georgia, Barbara Hall of Marked Tree and Rhonda Gillis (Dennis) of Jonesboro; and grandchildren, Jonathan Smithee (Tracy) of Jonesboro, Clint Smithee of Jonesboro, Brooke Birmingham (Zach) of Jonesboro and Aundy Coles. She is also survived by two great granddaughters, Zoey Smithee and Cierra Navarro.

A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at Christian Valley Christian Church.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Christian Valley Christian Church with Bro. Mitch Ford officiating.
