Linda Susan Shelton

Linda Susan Shelton, 65, of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born April 22, 1951 in San Bernardino, California to the late Edward and Bernice Evans. Linda resided in Jonesboro for the past 12 years after spending the majority of her life living in California. Linda was a Christian. She was a great wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Linda was an avid reader. She loved going Deep Sea fishing and watching Disney Movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda is survived by her husband, David Shelton, of 14 years; one son: Bill (Monique) McAllister of California; one daughter: Christina McAllister of California; one brother: Brian (Susan) Evans of California; three sisters: Diann (Hershel) Howard of Arkansas, Pam (Steve) Thomas of California, and Debbie (Darrell) Hutchison of California.

A visitation will be from 10:00 am-12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home.
