Linda Joyce Ruiz

Linda Joyce Ruiz, 77, of Walnut Ridge, departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on February 21, 1947, in Little Rock to the late Woodrow Wilson and Lois Pauline Malden.

Linda was a devoted and godly woman who found joy in traveling, fishing, and cherishing time with her grandchildren. She had a compassionate heart and was deeply committed to supporting survivors through a sexual abuse recovery group, offering comfort and encouragement to those in need.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Richard Ruiz; her brother, Harless Malden; and her sister, Phyllis Malden.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Woodrow Wilson Ruiz of Jonesboro and Anthony Harllis Ruiz and wife Kathy of Walnut Ridge; her brother, Tom J. Malden of Florida; eight grandchildren, Anthony Ruiz Jr., Brian Ruiz (Ninna), Christian Ruiz, Derek Ruiz (Bailey), Johnny Ruiz Jr., Mark Ruiz, Brittany Ruiz, and Alicia Ruiz; several great-grandchildren; and a lifetime of cherished friends.
