Linda Bowers Reece of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Linda was born in the Bowman community and lived most of her life in Jonesboro. She, along with her husband Bud Reece, owned Bud's Starter and Generator in Jonesboro. She loved traveling and being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Linda was a true Christian lady and was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Marie Cheshier Bowers; her husband Nolan "Bud" Reece; and a little brother, Charles Wayne Bowers.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Donnell Reece of Gamaliel;
1 daughter and son-in-law: LeeAnn and Clay McDaniel of Jonesboro;
1 sister and brother-in-law: Flo and L.D. Burrow of Jonesboro;
4 grandchildren and their spouses: Matt and Katie Reece, and Jace and Alivia McDaniel, all of Jonesboro; Greg and Lindsey Reece of Slidell, Louisiana, and Stephanie and Brenden Camp of Brookland;
5 great grandchildren: Elliott Allman, Nolan Reece, Maya Reece, Paisley McDaniel and Carter Camp.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Emerson Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Nettleton Cemetery with Jimmy Adcox officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
