Linda Ann Ray

May 19, 1969 — February 13, 2019

Linda Ann Ray, 49, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family and friends, on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on May 19, 1969, to the late Barbara Gilbert Floyd and the late Junior Deed Adams. Here, she graduated high school and met her husband, Steve Ray. She loved to spend time with family and friends, as well as do crafts and bible studies/devotionals in her spare time. She was a proud member of the Jonesboro Legal Secretary’s Association and she worked as a paralegal at Joe Barrett Attorney at Law for 30 years, until she was no longer able to work, due to illness. Linda was one of the founding members of Grace Community Church, in Jonesboro, Arkansas where she assisted her husband, Steve, in Youth Ministry for many years. She was a woman of strong and unwavering faith, allowing her struggles and 9-year battle with cancer to only make her stronger and motivate her to live every day with courage and joy. Her faith in Christ inspired those around her, including her family and children, as she lived each day to serve the Lord and follow his instruction to love others.

She was preceded in death by her parents Barbara Gilbert Floyd and Junior Deed Adams.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Steve Ray, son Joshua Ray (wife Lauren Ray), daughter Madison Seal (husband Tanner Seal), son Ryan Adams-Ray, granddaughter Stella Grace Ray, brother Rodney Adams, brother-in-law Kelly Ray, step-mother Margo Adams, half-sister Kristen Adams, and half-brother Brent Adams.
