Linda J. Nance, 66, of Jonesboro, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the NEA Medical Center. She was born in Rapid City, South Dakota to Cledious and Bette Monaghan Williams. She had lived in Jonesboro for 38 years, moving here from Cahokia, Illinois. Linda was a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran Church. She will fondly be remembered by friends and family as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a published author and artist. She had such a kind and loving spirit and a sense of humor towards life. She will be greatly missed by friends, family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son, Carl Brown of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter, Lisa Reeves of Jonesboro, step-son, Albert Nance Jr. and his wife, Lacey; Grandchildren, Kurtis Brown, Zander Figuero, Jerri Denton, Charles Nance and Richard Nance.
A memorial service will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. All other services will be private.
