Linda Lawrence, 84, of Harrisburg, passed from this life on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on January 30, 1942, in Manila, Arkansas, to Jewel and Martha Gray.
Linda spent most of her adult life in Fisher, Arkansas, where she moved in 1966. She was known for her strong work ethic and generous spirit. Always working and always willing to lend a helping hand, Linda was someone others could count on.
For 40 years, Linda owned and operated D&L Mowing, a business that suited her well because she truly loved to mow. Whether at work or helping someone in need, Linda approached life with determination and a willingness to serve others.
Above all, Linda loved being surrounded by her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her great joy, and she especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, David Lawrence Sr.; brothers, Gerald Gray, Frank Gray, Wallace Gray, William Gray, Vick Gray, and Kenny Gray; and infant sisters, Grace Gray and Inez Gray.
Linda is survived by her sons, Ray Lawrence (Leslie) of Fisher and Tim Lawrence (Sherry) of Des Arc; daughter, Annette Lawrence of Little Rock; brothers, Bobby Gray (Madeline), Roy Gray, and Jeff Gray (Winda); sister, Sandra Brooks (Tommy); sisters-in-law, Brenda Gray, Rhonda Gray, and Carol Gray; grandchildren, Zach Lawrence, Kyle Lawrence, Jacob Lawrence, and Taylor Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Kylee Lawrence, Avery Kate Lawrence, and Zoey Rae Lawrence; and many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
