Linda Diann Landis

Linda Diann Landis, age 80, of Paragould, departed this life on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 18, 1943, in Lake City, she was the cherished daughter of the late Cecil Aubrey “C.A” and Tolise Bryant Sutterfield.

Linda was a dedicated member of the Southwest Church of Christ, where her faith and kindness were evident to all who knew her. She found great joy in shopping, gardening and devoted much of her time to caring for her beloved grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and vibrant personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Aubrey Sutterfield, and her daughter, Stacy Hurst.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Landis, of 48 years, who shared their home in Paragould. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Jon-David Hurst of Paragould and Ashley Cullum of Lake City, whom she cherished and helped raise as her own. Her legacy continues through her three great-grandchildren, Grayson Taylor of Paragould, Hannah Taylor of Jonesboro, and Amelia Cullum of Lake City, along with two nephews Bryan Sutterfield of Lake City and Vance Sutterfield of Jonesboro. She also leaves behind a lifetime of dear friends who will miss her greatly.

A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Jimmy Adcox.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Southwest Church of Christ in Jonesboro or the Children's Home in Paragould, in Linda's memory.
