Linda Sue Jones

Linda Sue Jones, 63, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026. She was born on September 3, 1962, in Monette, Arkansas.

Linda was of the Baptist faith and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time fishing, cherished her beloved dogs, and treasured every moment shared with her family. Her warm heart, gentle spirit, and love for those closest to her will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Odell Jones, and her sister, Sharon Woodall.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Esther Williams of Lake City; her brother, Jerry Jones (Sharon) of Jonesboro; her stepbrother, Ed Williams (Patricia) of Springdale, her stepsister, Vickie Williams of Hardy; two nephews, Todd Woodall (Tracy) of Gentry and Cody Williams (Kaylee) of Ohio; as well as many other relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

A graveside service will be held at Pine log Cemetery in Jonesboro on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with Rick Hathcoat officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Bernards Hospice in Linda's memory.

Linda's kindness, love for her family, and appreciation for life's quiet moments will be remembered always. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
