Linda Sue Householder, age 77, of Jonesboro, AR, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Linda was born on March 7, 1949, in Piggott, AR, to Quinton Thomas Dixon and Mary Margaret Mouton Dixon. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, treasured great-grandmother, and faithful friend. She lived a life marked by kindness, compassion, and an unwavering love for her family.
Linda was a faithful member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, where she lovingly served as the Awana Director for the Cubbies program. She found great joy in sharing God's love with young children and helping guide them in their early spiritual journey. Her dedication to her church family and the children she served reflected her servant's heart and deep faith.
She also volunteered at the Pregnancy Resource Center, now known as Options on Main, where she dedicated her time and love for the Lord to minister to and encourage women facing unplanned pregnancies. Through her compassionate spirit, gentle guidance, and unwavering faith, she touched countless lives and shared the hope and love of Christ with those who needed it most.
Linda's greatest joy was spending time with those she loved. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and countless memories. She especially cherished caring for her grandchildren and was deeply involved in their lives, sharing in their joys, milestones, and everyday moments. Her gentle spirit, caring heart, and beautiful smile touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Householder; her children, Chris (Chandra) Householder and John (Deana) Householder; her grandchildren, Easton (Serena) Householder, Aaden Householder, Jacob(Jami Rhea) Householder, Amanda (Glenn) Brown, and Clayton Ruesewald; her great-grandchildren, Savvy Householder, Trevor, Katy Rhea, Victoria, Kade, Marilla and Silas Householder, Madison and Mason McCoy; her siblings, Tom Dixon, Betty Sheofee, and Cathy Hartmann; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sibling, Gene Dixon.
Linda leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, strength, and devotion to family. While her presence will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
